The seventh annual ranking of Forbes/SHOOK Top Women Wealth Advisors features 1,697 women collectively managing assets of nearly $2.3 trillion. Recent studies by Wells Fargo and Vanguard show that women tend to have a more disciplined approach to investing. Not only are women more patient and trade less than men—often leading to better risk-adjusted returns—but they are also more risk-averse when it comes to asset allocation.

DeLynn Zell, CFP®, is co-founder and CEO of Bridgeworth. In addition to her role in the Firm, DeLynn collaborates with industry peer groups across the country as well as provides leadership for significant organizations in Birmingham. She is most proud of her part in mentoring and developing female advisors in a male-dominated field. Her influence has contributed to Bridgeworth having 32% women advisors, over the industry standard of 23%1, 62% women team members, and six women out of 10 management team members. Jenny Sneed, CFP®, ChFC®, Bridgeworth Partner, has been guiding her clients through the ins and outs of financial planning for over two decades.
