For over 25 years, DeLynn has specialized in comprehensive retirement planning, asset management, and income distribution. She has worked with hundreds of clients as they have prepared for and transitioned into retirement. DeLynn serves as CEO and is a co-founder of Bridgeworth, providing guidance and leadership.

In addition to her role in the firm, DeLynn provides leadership for key organizations in the city. She has been a member of the Board of Trustees at Birmingham Southern College for ten years and is currently serving a Chair of the Board of Trustees. She also serves on the Executive Board and finance committee of the Boy Scouts of America, St. Vincent’s Hospital Board, Oasis Counseling Center, where she served as President, and a prior President of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. She previously served on the Women’s Fund Board and is currently a member of the downtown Birmingham Kiwanis Club and Newcomen Society.

DeLynn is from Headland, Alabama and is a graduate of Birmingham Southern College where she majored in accounting. She is married to Lee Zell, a partner with the law firm of Balch & Bingham, and they have one son, David Michael, who is currently a student at the University of Alabama. She enjoys spending family time at their home on Lake Eufaula and playing golf.
