Seeking Financial Planning Coordinator for Huntsville Office

We are looking to hire a Financial Planning Coordinator in our Huntsville office.  This is an entry-level position (year 1-3) in our career track for someone whose goal is to become a Certified Financial Planner.  You will work closely with senior advisors and gain exposure to all aspects of planning and asset management.

What You Will Do

  • Gather and review client financial data.
  • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and input data into CRM and planning software.
  • Assist advisors with meeting preparation.
  • Handle follow-up tasks from meetings as assigned by advisors.
  • Prepare analysis as needed and serve as a liaison with the planning department.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree with a major in finance, accounting, business. Financial Planning coursework preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn our CRM and other planning software.
  • Ability to stay organized, set priorities, and work independently while working as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Attention to detail is critical.
  • Willingness to learn.

We are looking to hire an experienced financial advisor in our Huntsville office.  This is a salaried position with a personalized incentive compensation plan.  You will work with existing firm clients while also continuing to develop new firm clients.

What You Will Do

  • Develop a mastery of Bridgeworth’s planning and investment philosophy to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Manage client relationships while utilizing our client service model.
  • Work closely with the planning department to create financial plans and recommendations.
  • Work closely with senior advisors/partners on more complex cases and sit 2nd chair as needed.
  • Retain clients and grow the practice through referrals from existing clients and other sources.

What We Seek

  • Bachelor’s degree and CFP® are required.
  • CFA, CPA, or other designations are desired.
  • Minimum 3 years as a client-facing advisor.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and innate ability to build immediate rapport with team and clients.
  • Technical skills needed to provide comprehensive wealth management services.
  • Strong communication skills and motivation to build a wider network of clientele through client referrals and centers of influence.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Team player with a positive attitude and proactive approach to financial planning.
  • Ability to stay organized, set priorities, and work independently while working as part of a team.

What you will do:  

As a trader, your focus will be the ongoing care and management of client portfolios. You will be a key member of the investment team, trading, and rebalancing portfolios to ensure the accounts are properly allocated.

Additional responsibilities will include research and special projects. Bridgeworth primarily trades mutual funds and ETFs but will also execute trades in stocks and bonds.

  • Manage the workflow associated with portfolio management; rebalancing portfolios, tax-loss harvesting, and handling cash management to ensure portfolios are within target tolerances.
  • Collaborate with advisors and other members of the investment team to implement and trade accounts efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Become an expert in our trading software and model portfolios.
  • Work closely with our Chief Investment Strategist and Investment Committee on investment research and other special projects as needed.
An ideal candidate would have:
  • 2-5 years relevant work experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Orion/Eclipse or similar portfolio management/trading systems and trade execution with major RIA custodians. (Schwab and/or LPL preferred)
  • Experience with Client Management Systems (Junxure or other leading CRMs preferred).
  • Deep understanding of various investment vehicles and markets.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with proactive problem solving and adaptability skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while serving as a key member of the team.
  • May be interested in obtaining their CFA.
