Since graduating from Samford University in 1990, Sam has specialized in creating comprehensive financial plans for families and managing their investment portfolios. He has worked with hundreds of families, assisting them with defining their financial goals and creating a plan of action. Sam is a partner and serves as co-chair of the firm’s Investment Committee.
Sam has spoken to numerous groups about financial planning and has served on the Board of Directors of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama. Before joining Bridgeworth, he helped start a Wealth Management Division at a local accounting firm where assets grew to over $1 billion under advisement.
Sam is active in the community, having coached basketball and softball teams while also serving at several local charitable organizations, including Restoration Academy, the Firehouse Shelter, and Changed Lives Christian Center. He and his wife, Joy, have three children and are active in their church.
