Bridgeworth is pleased to announce the newest member of our leadership and advisory team, Ashley Folkes, CFP®, CPWA®, CRPC®, RICP®. Folkes will play an integral role in helping lead the firm as Bridgeworth’s Director of Marketing and Growth Strategies. He will also be joining our team of experienced financial advisors, bringing with him over two decades of industry knowledge and adding to Bridgeworth’s prominent group of over 25 CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERS™.
Folkes’s understanding of the financial sector is vast. He has worked in leadership and advisory roles for well-known organizations such as PNC Wealth Management, Moors & Cabot, Inc., AIG, and Merrill Lynch’s Private Client Group. Folkes has a drive for helping advisors and firms grow to their full potential and a passion for building deep relationships with his clients to help them overcome obstacles, reach their goals, and find the true meaning of what money and wealth mean to them. He clarifies, “wealth means different things to different people. It isn’t just about money and success – it’s about feeling rich in all aspects of life through the pursuit of true holistic wealth. We do this by diving into your values and the things that have the greatest impact on you by integrating your investments with your wellness and lifestyle goals.”
While many of his previous leadership roles have placed him across the country, Bridgeworth is glad to have Folkes back in Alabama, his home state, and state of his alma mater, Troy University, where he received a BA in Marketing and Management. You can discover Folkes’s contributions to the financial industry in numerous publications such as CNBC, Barron’s, Morningstar, InvestmentNews, Wall Street Journal, and Reuters.
