Bridgeworth, LLC is pleased to announce that Jeris Gaston, CFP ®, CRPC® and William Hocutt, CFP® , CPA, have been promoted to partners of the firm.
Gaston has been advising clients since 2007 in the areas of wealth accumulation, retirement planning, investment management, and comprehensive financing planning. Gaston is a 2005 graduate of Birmingham-Southern College and a 2007 graduate of the University of Dublin, Trinity College. She obtained her CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2013 and her Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor™ designation in 2012. Gaston has built her practice while maintaining an active role in the community. She is past-president of the Rotaract Club of Birmingham and the Junior Board of the YWCA of Central Alabama. She has served on the Birmingham-Southern College Planning Giving Advisory Council, the development committee of The Women’s Fund of Greater Birmingham and is a current member of the Rotary Club of Birmingham. She is a recipient of the Charles C. Collat Senior Distinguished Leader Award and was named a Birmingham Business Journal’s 2017 Top 40 Under 40.
Hocutt has been advising clients for 15 years and focuses his practice on working with families preparing for retirement. Hocutt graduated cum laude from the University of Alabama in 1998 and went on to obtain his Master of Accountancy from the University of Alabama in 1999. He obtained his CPA designation in 2001 and his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ designation in 2006. Hocutt is a member of the Financial Planning Association of North Alabama and served on the Board of Directors and is past-president; is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Alabama Society of Certified Public Accountants. He is a 2007 graduate of Leadership Vestavia Hills and currently serves on the Vestavia Hills City Schools Foundation Board of Directors.
