Bridgeworth has spent the last year crafting thoughtful core values that help shape our firm culture. The Best Places to Work, Advancement of Women, and Who’s Who in Financial Planning awards from the Birmingham Business Journal (BBJ) are validation of our hard work and hold us even more accountable to those standards by which we work.

BBJ Best Places to Work has been awarded to Bridgeworth 10 times. We are honored to continue to be a place where employees enjoy coming to work. Along with elaborating our core values, this year was also spent implementing new perks and benefits that reinforce Bridgeworth as a supportive and fun workplace.

This year, The Advancement of Women Award was a new category for the BBJ, and one Bridgeworth is honored to receive. We are committed to moving our firm and the financial planning industry forward in this area. 32% of our advisors are women (higher than the industry norm), 62% of our management team are women, and our firm is led by a female founder and CEO. We continue to strive for the advancement of women and actively recruit women and minorities to join our team.

Who’s Who in Financial Planning & Wealth Management, spotlighting DeLynn Zell, CFP®, co-founder and CEO of Bridgeworth. This listing features leaders in Birmingham’s financial scene and showcases those firms who guided their sectors during turbulent times throughout the last year. For three consecutive years, DeLynn has received this honor, a testament to her dedication to Bridgeworth and our clients. We are grateful for her commitment to making our community stronger and more prosperous.

Our purpose is to help ensure our clients live with confidence and clarity. Fostering a culture in which our employees are supported, and flourishing is a large piece of achieving this. Bridgeworth is grateful to its team and the Birmingham Business Journal for the honors. Congratulations to the other award recipients!
