Ivey serves as the firm’s Chief Investment Strategist and oversees the firm’s investment committee conducting research and managing more than one billion in assets. He is the immediate past president of the Chartered Financial Analyst Society (CFA) and served on the board of the Financial Planning Association of Alabama for four years. He is the author of Truly Rich: Practical Wisdom and a Proper Perspective for an Enriched Life (2006), and is frequently quoted and featured in local and national business publications and television programs including The New York Post, Wealth and Retirement Planner, The Journal of Financial Planning, and the Birmingham Business Journal.
Ivey graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mississippi State in 1999 and received his MBA from UAB in 2001. He has earned numerous professional designations including: CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™, Chartered Financial Analyst, Chartered Financial Consultant, and Chartered Life Underwriter.
