John T. White
John is a financial planner, who focuses on the life cycles of his clients. By recognizing both the problems and opportunities they face, he assists both individuals and businesses in developing long-range financial plans. His clients hire him to do three things: To provide creative ideas in the area of income, estate and tax reduction strategies, and wealth creation; to coordinate with the clients’ other advisors to make sure all are supporting client goals, and, most importantly; to act as a catalyst to get things done. He provides wealth management through various investment vehicles.

John is a graduate of Troy University with a degree in Business and Marketing. He holds Series 7, 63 and 65 licenses and State of Alabama, Georgia, and Florida Insurance licenses. John has earned his Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor designation as well as completing a Certified Senior Adviser Course and is a member of the Society of Certified Senior Advisors.

John is a veteran, a graduate of the U.S. Army Armor Officer Course, the U.S. Army Combat Engineer Course, and the Command and General Staff School. He is a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army Reserve. His military awards include two Meritorious Service Medals, two Army Commendation Medals, and three Army Achievement Medals.

John demonstrates his ongoing community support through a Career Transition Service that he founded to assist individuals in career change. He also facilitates a financial seminar to help educate families and individuals regarding debt reduction strategies and financial planning. He helped organize a Cub Scout Troop and later served as both a Den Leader and Boy Scout Leader. He is a volunteer speaker with the Alabama Jumpstart Coalition and a Rotarian.

John and his wife Diane live in Hoover, Alabama. They have two children that attend The University of Alabama at Birmingham and Jefferson State Community College.
