Jeff has been serving clients since 1997. His practice focuses primarily on planning and wealth management for clients at or near retirement. In the planning process, time and attention are paid to the risk of premature death, disability, and the potential need for long-term care. Jeff also helps young professionals and their families develop strategies to help them toward financial independence.

Jeff is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. He earned his Bachelor of Arts, First Curriculum, from the University of Alabama, where he graduated magna cum laude and was inducted as a member of Phi Beta Kappa. He earned his Master of Arts from the University of Washington in Seattle. He was named among Birmingham’s “Top Forty Under Forty” in 1999 by Birmingham Business Journal.

Jeff is involved with the community. He volunteers as a staff member for Camp McDowell’s Summer Camp Session for children infected and affected by HIV, and he helps raise money for Pathways, a United Way agency that provides food and shelter to homeless women and their children. In addition, Jeff has served in several capacities in his parish, St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church, Cahaba Heights, and the Episcopal Diocese of Alabama.

Jeff plays several sports when he is not enjoying time with his wife, Brandi, and their two children, Jack and Anna, at their home in Bluff Park.
