Marc’s philosophy is to focus first on the client’s needs before recommending a course of action. This is after taking a broad look at the client’s financial situation. He believes the client deserves to be treated fairly and receive objective advice. In this way, he develops long-term relationships with his clients.
Some of Marc’s focus areas include college funding, retirement planning, estate planning, investment strategy, insurance planning and employee/employer benefits.
Marc graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree and has since earned the designation of CHARTERED RETIREMENT PLANNING COUNSELORSM from the College for Financial Planning in Denver, CO. He is currently working toward the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification. Marc joined the firm after working for 16 years as a sales manager for a manufacturing company. There, Marc developed long term relationships with his customers, which is still a focus of his practice with his clients.
Marc is the father of two daughters, Cassidy and Madison. He has helped coach Madison’s softball team, and during the fall he is a football referee in the Southeastern Conference. He has volunteered at the Pathways Womens Shelter for their Fiscally Fit Program, and he is a member of Valleydale Church, where he serves on the Technical Team. He also enjoys playing golf when he can find the time.
