For the past 20 years, DeLynn Zell has specialized in comprehensive retirement planning, asset management and income distribution. She has worked with hundreds of clients as they have prepared for and transitioned into retirement. She and her team provide wealth management services for many professional and high net worth clients. In practice since 1988, DeLynn earned the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 1993.

DeLynn graduated from Birmingham Southern College in 1986 with a B.A degree and double major in accounting and finance. She began her career with the national accounting firm of PricewaterhouseCoopers and is a founding partner of Bridgeworth Financial.

In addition to managing her practice, DeLynn is active in both community and professional organizations. She is a member of the Board of Trustees of Birmingham Southern College and a past President of the Birmingham Southern National Alumni Association. She is the current member of the Oasis Center Foundation Board and a past President of the Board of Directors, a member of the AEAE Board of the Advent Episcopal Day School, a board member of the Womens’ Fund, and serves on the Advisory Council for the Assistance League of Birmingham. She is an active member of the Financial Planning Association’s North Alabama Chapter which she served as Board President from 2001-2003 and a member of the Estate Planning Council. She has been recognized by the Birmingham Business Journal as one of Birmingham’s “Top Forty Under Forty” and has been featured in The Women’s Exchange. She has been quoted in both national and local media.

DeLynn is a member of the Cathedral Church of the Advent. She is married to Lee Zell, a partner with the law firm of Balch and Bingham, and they have one son, David Michael.
