Kathryn Hefferly

Kathryn Hefferly has focused her practice for the past 15 years in the areas of investment planning and retirement income planning strategies, as well as the protective measures needed to help protect and preserve wealth. Many of her clients come to her following a life-changing event such as the loss of a spouse, a career change, or the anticipation of retirement and financial independence.

Kathryn is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of Pittsburgh and received her Masters of Public Administration from Auburn University. Kathryn has earned the professional designations of Chartered Financial Consultant, Chartered Life Underwriter and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner.

Prior to her career in financial services, Kathryn designed health education programs for rural communities, managed community programs for the developmentally disabled, and taught in the undergraduate social work program at the University of Montevallo.

She has served as Past President of the Birmingham chapter of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, on the board of the North Alabama Association for Financial Planning and as a member of the Estate Planning Council. Her current community involvement includes the Southern Women’s Committee of Fifty, the Board of Directors of the Alabama Grief Support Foundation and the National Association of Women in Business. She is a member of South Highland Presbyterian Church where she is an officer and serves on the Board of Directors of the South Highland Foundation.
